Figment NYE

This large-scale sculptural installation was created for Figment New Year’s Eve in Boston—a glowing, oversized jellyfish-flower hybrid suspended in midair. I worked on the team and fabricated the structural base and stem, welding it from salvaged steel footrests that were once part of seating in an old theater—bringing a layer of history and reuse to the project. I also handled all the CNC cutting for the large, petal-like components that made up the top of the sculpture creating a flowing, organic canopy.

The result was a luminous, interactive centerpiece—built to be strong, transportable, and visually immersive. Rooted in repurposed materials and collaborative energy, it invited visitors to pause, look up, and step into something a little surreal.
