CNC Stuff

I have a strong background in CNC manufacturing, developed through years of hands-on work as a machinist, fabricator, and collaborator on advanced prototyping projects, as well as through teaching manufacturing in adult education programs and within the Mechanical Engineering Department at MIT. I’m experienced with vertical milling machines, manual lathes, CNC routers, VMCs, and high-speed machining centers. I’m fluent in the full digital-to-physical workflow—from CAD modeling to CAM programming and machine setup—and regularly use software like Fusion 360 and Mastercam to generate precise toolpaths and program parts for production. My experience ranges from custom one-offs to small-scale production runs, with a consistent focus on speed, accuracy, and material efficiency.
